A lovely diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece has a single diamond stone that rests in the center of a delicate filigree mounting. The diamond, which is an old Mine Cut, has an approximate total weight of .26ct and is set in a lovely 18kt white gold setting. The color of the stone is I and the clarity is SI1. The diamond is bead set in an square box setting which sits atop the delicate wirework mounting. Set on each shoulder of the diamond are 2 additional diamonds, one of which is set in a small box setting while the other is set in a pentagonal box setting. The ring was appraised in May 2012 and has a stated retail replacement value of $2,700.00. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or to the diamonds, all of which are intact.
