A lovely beaded amethyst necklace from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This gorgeous piece is comprised of a strand of 63 amethyst beads, which are split in the center and separated by faceted rock crystal rondelles. Each beaded section consists of two amethyst bead ends which are smoothly polished into an elongated conical shape and the rock crystal spacers perfectly complete the design, giving the bracelet a bit of sparkle as each facet catches the light. The rondelles graduate slightly in size, with the largest beads being located at the center of the piece. The necklace is secured by an 18k white gold pearl clasp, which is decorated with intricate filigree detailing. The pearl clasp is marked with an "18K" purity mark. It would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurements: The overall length of the bracelet is approximately 17 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage, chips, or scratches to any of the amethyst beads and the clasp is secure and in working order.
